With commercial Hajj and Umrah packages costing between 500,000 to 700,000 ETB, the journey has become impossible for 99.9% of Ethiopian Muslims.
NUR JOURNEY solves this by allowing a community of devout citizens to pool micro-contributions (1,000 ETB) into a verifiable, Sharia-compliant system. When the pool is filled, a subset of the community is selected to perform the journey, fully covered.

You purchase a fixed-price participation ticket for the current round (e.g., Umrah Round 01). Your contribution is locked in at exactly 1,000 ETB, making the sacred journey accessible to almost any household.
Your funds are instantly deposited directly into a ring-fenced escrow account held at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) via Telebirr or direct integration. The platform touches zero funds.
Follow published campaign updates and your own ticket status from your account. Campaign-wide ticket counts and remaining capacity are managed privately by the administrator.
Once 100% full, the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council (EIASC) and third-party auditors oversee a transparent, randomized cohort selection from the verified participant pool.
